The pattern of this arabic ring has a Middle Eastern, Yemeni influence, as the silversmith is the 8th generation of the same Jewish-Yemeni family dedicated to the art of filigree jewelery and ethnic jewelery.
Handmade by an 8th Generation Yemeni Jewish silversmith, this solid silver ring is made of 925 sterling oxidised silver, based on the ancient ethnic patterns of the Yemen.
The Jewish goldsmiths across the Middle East were considered to be the very best and their skills were highly sought after to make spectacular, intricate pieces for weddings and other special occasions for and by all religious and ethnic groups living in the region.
This is a lovely example of a chunky silver ring without losing any of it´s elegance thanks to the craftsmanship and skill of this superb artisan.
