Sterling silver pendant necklace with enamel geometric star
WHY WE LOVE IT
A lovely pendant necklace in a timeless Arab star shape based on geometric tilework.
The geometric pendant has a delicate hand painted enamel center in complimentary browns, yellows and blues.
The silver pendant hangs from a mixed brown waxed cord with a sterling silver lobster clasp.
The geometric pattern is engraved on the underside of the pendant too.
A simple, stylish necklace.
An unusual pendant based on the timeless geometric tilework of the Moors of Spain: in tilework this design is interlinked over and over again, making it both simple and complex.
Here we take just one of these tiles, cast in 925 Silver and hand painted in a mix of yellow, tan and turquoise enamels.
The geometric pattern is also engraved on the underside of the pendant with true artisan attention to detail and the pendant is hung on a tan coloured wax cotton cord finished with a 925 silver lobster clasp.
The silver pendant measures:
(Metric): 2.5cm x 2.5cm and the cord is 40cm long
or
(Imperial): 0.98" x 0.98" and the cord is 15.74" long.
