Our beautiful Moroccan leather bags are handmade from genuine goatskin leather in black, combined with handwoven rayon in a palette of subtle white, cream, beige, brown and taupe colors.
Rayon is a textile derived from cellulose wood pulp and is a very strong and durable vegetable fiber.
The rayon thread itself has been handwoven on traditional wooden looms by a community of artisans in Morocco. The warp, or background color, is interwoven with the weft, the over-colors.
Their combination gives a lovely, iridescent sheen to the fabric and the artisan production process makes each bag a unique piece as well as having a low environmental impact.
The rayon striped fabric and real leather in black combination makes for a striking and original shoulder bag for women.
To open and close this colorful handbag in sublte tones, there is a long zip on the outside and a small pocket with a zip on the inside.
The inside of the bag is also lined.
