Our beautiful Moroccan shoulder bags are handmade from genuine goat´s leather in tobacco brown combined with hand-woven rayon in a palette of striking stripes of blue, rust, cream, orange, turquoise, green and red.
Rayon is a textile derived from cellulose wood pulp and is a very strong and durable vegetable fiber.
The rayon thread itself has been handwoven on traditional wooden looms by a community of artisans in Morocco. The warp, or background color, is interwoven with the weft, the over-colors.
Their combination gives a lovely, iridescent sheen to the fabric and the artisan production process makes each bag a unique piece as well as having a low environmental impact.
The rayon and real leather combination makes for a striking and original handbag in a classic over the shoulder design.
To open and close this colorful handbag there is a long zip on the outside and a small pocket with a zip on the inside. The inside of the bag is also lined.
