This wide belt´s intricate pattern, handcrafted from weaved leather in brown, is combined with a beautiful round silver belt buckle, hand tooled with a simple geometric pattern and inset with horn at it´s center.
With a low environmental impact, this wide belt is handmade by a master artisan employing simple hand tools, which goes hand it hand with it´s vintage, timeless appeal.
This wide belt hand braided in genuine brown leather is ideal for wearing slung low on the hips or as a wide waist belt on dresses, tight at the waist.
The buckle is hand tooled with beautiful, geometric designs in German silver and has a piece of natural horn inset at its centre.
The horn has been polished to give a beautiful shine and being a natural material, the colors and tones can vary, from creamy white, creamy, beige, taupe, brown and black.
The beauty of a braided belt is that it has no punched holes, so you can place the buckle anywhere along the belt making a perfect fit.
It can be worn to expose the excess part of the belt, or it can be tucked behind the belt for a cleaner look.

XS (Total length, including buckle, 109-112cm)

The sizes are calculated to fit around the hips.
Our Moroccan belts are artisan made. There can be slight variations of length inside each given size which are shown in the lengths given.
The lengths given include the buckle, so when measuring your size, the buckle length needs to be added on to the required length (in this case 9cm). One or two centimeters or an inch can be added to give some flexibility, but is not absolutely necessary.
For example, a measurement of 108cm around the hips can comfortably use from 117cm (gives a little less length) up to the XL sizes without there being too much length left over. These belts are flexible any additional length is tucked behind the belt anyway and the buckle can be hooked anywhere along the length of the braided belt.
The dimensions of the wide belt and buckle measure:
(Metric): 6cm wide and the round buckle measures 9cm across
or
(Imperial): 2.36" wide and the round buckle measures 3.54" across.
The round buckle is hand cut and engraved and is made of German Silver (60% copper, 20% zinc and 20% nickel) with a piece of horn/polished bone inserted at its centre.
As it is a handmade product, the sizes quoted are approximate.
