Handwoven Moroccan bedspread, tablecloth or throw in muted colors

Handwoven on traditional wooden looms by a community of artisan weavers in Morocco, this vegan fabric is handmade from natural cellulose fibres from trees, being the by-product of other manufacturing processes.  Known as rayon, it has a natural sheen, a silky texture and warming and cooling properties.  It´s so reminicent of silk but without any of the cruelty being a non-animal product.

This handwoven fabric made from natural fibers looks beautiful when used as a bedspread, a throw on sofas, as curtains, a wall hanging or as a table cloth.

Despite being handmade, rayon textiles are hardy enough to be washed in the washing machine on a cool wash at 30º.  The colors won´t run, lose their vibrancy or delectable sheen.  It can also be dry cleaned, but really, why bother?
