Handwoven shawl in stripes of pastel colors, white, pink, blue and mauve

In a stunning pastel color palette of thin stripes of white, cream, pastel blue, light pastel purple, pastel pink, lilac with contrasting dark blue and beige our elegant artisan made pashmina shawl is handwoven into striped fabric on traditional wooden looms by a dynamic cooperative in Morocco. 

The threads feel and move like silk, which are handwoven into a color mix of pastel colors in a striped fabric with a subtle, reflective sheen thanks to the warp (undertone color) working beautifully with the weft (the multiple colors woven over and through the warp).

Although this fabric can be hand washed, it is also machine washable at 30º Celsius / 86º Fahrenheit (cool wash) and can be ironed on a cotton setting, making it a really durable and practical choice. Neither will the fabric lose its rich color, beautiful sheen or softness after multiple washes.

It can be dry-cleaned but it really doesn´t need to be.

This fabric, created from natural by-products of cellulose fibres, can be used as a pashmina, wrap, shawl, scarf and is usable throughout the year, although the color combinations are so lovely, some of our customers have gone for a more unusual course & used it as a table runner, wall hanging or decorative fabric at the foot of their bed or instead of a headboard.
