Blown glass teardrop shaped suncatchers, witch balls, talismans

Beautiful glass teardrops were the second addition to our blown hanging glass collections, coming in three sizes and an array of sumptuous jewel colors. Retaining the swirl design of the "Sultan´s Turban", the teardrops compliment both the original Turban and Tassel Ball Designs.

Using traditional glass making techniques, specialist artisans blow the glass to Andaluchic´s design in Egypt.

The glass is then hand painted and the colors burnt into the glass inside an oven heated to 2,500° C.

Blown glass home décor was origninally used as talismans in windows and doors as a way of protecting the home from negative influences, today they are enjoyed as object d´art, moving and catching the ever-changing light and moods of the day and night. They look eye-catching hung alone or as part of a cluster in windows, over doorways, from beams and curtain poles.

They can be mixed and matched in shape, size and color for a stunning display.
