We love the soft curves and the cute hole in the handle of this lovely blue handbag, handmade from beautiful hand-woven striped fabric in rich jewel colors of sapphire blue and turquoise, combined with soft goat skin in blue, creating a unique and colorful handcrafted tote bag.
Our fun tote bag in deep blue leather is made from soft and supple goatskin leather which has been combined with the plant based textile that is rayon, handwoven in thin stripes in a mix of blues, greens to turquoise with a hint of gold.
Rayon is a textile derived from the natural fibres of wood pulp, leftover from other manufacturing processes.
The rayon threads have been handwoven on traditional wooden looms by a community of artisans in Morocco. The warp, or background color, is interwoven with the weft, the over-colors.
Their combination gives a lovely, iridescent sheen to the fabric and the artisan production process makes each bag a unique piece with a low environmental impact.
To open and close this colorful tote bag there is a long zip on the outside and a small pocket with a zip on the inside.
This beautiful leather tote bag is also fully lined.
