Our cute red leather purse is handcrafted from soft and supple goatskin leather combined with the plant based textile that is rayon, which has been handwoven in a mix of soft vertical stripes in red, dusty pink, blue, gold, brown, green and cream rones.
Rayon is a textile derived from the natural fibres of leftover wood pulp from other manufacturing processes, and makes a very durable textile.
The rayon threads have been handwoven on traditional wooden looms by a community of artisans in Morocco. The warp, or background color, is interwoven with the weft, the over-colors.
Their combination gives a lovely, iridescent sheen to the fabric and the artisan production process makes each handmade leather bag a unique piece with a low environmental impact.
To open and close this colorful tote bag there is a long zip on the outside and a small pocket with a zip on the inside.
This beautiful Moroccan leather handbag is also fully lined.
