This lovely blue bag comes in beautiful striped fabric, handwoven in contrasting black and blue colors giving the textile a lovely natural sheen. Combined with sumptuously soft genuine blue goatskin leather, this combo creates a colorful tote bag with a unique look and feel.
Our beautiful Moroccan leather handbag, in the larger version of our leather tote bag design, is made from soft and supple blue goatskin leather combined with the plant based textile that is rayon, which has been handwoven in a mix of individual thick and skinny stripes of black and blue colors.
Rayon is a textile derived from cellulose wood pulp leftover from other manufacturing processes.
The rayon threads have been handwoven on traditional wooden looms by a community of artisans in Morocco to create a beautiful and original fabric. The warp, or background color, is interwoven with the weft, the over-colors.
Their combination gives a lovely, iridescent sheen to the fabric and the artisan production process makes each bag a unique piece as well as having a low environmental impact.
To open and close this blue tote bag, there is a long zip on the outside and a small pocket with a zip on the inside.
This beautiful colorful handbag is also fully lined.
