Our beautiful handmade leather handbag, in the larger version of our leather tote bag design, is made from soft and supple purple goatskin leather combined with the plant based textile that is rayon, which has been handwoven in a mix of individual thick and skinny stripes of black and royal blue tones.
Rayon is a textile derived from cellulose wood pulp.
The rayon threads have been handwoven on traditional wooden looms by a community of artisans in Morocco. The warp, or background color, is interwoven with the weft, the over-colors.
Their combination gives a lovely, iridescent sheen to the fabric and the artisan production process makes each bag a unique piece as well as having a low environmental impact.
To open and close this purple tote, there is a long zip on the outside and a small pocket with a zip on the inside.
This beautiful colorful handbag is also fully lined.
