This is one cute leather tote bag, with a boho look and yet is also elegant and chic, which can be used as shoulder bag if you´re not wearing too much bulk.
By mixing the luxuriously sheeny striped fabric, handwoven in tones of cream, white, brown and taupe, with real goatskin leather in deep tobacco brown, this is a beautiful leather tote with a fresh and unique design and shape.
Our stunning leather tote bag, in the larger version of this design, is made from soft and supple goat leather in deep tobacco brown, combined with the plant based textile that is rayon, which has been handwoven in a mix of subtle stripes in cream, white, brown and taupe.
Rayon is a natural fiber derived from cellulose wood pulp leftover from other manufacturing processes.
The rayon threads itself has been handwoven on traditional wooden looms by a community of artisans in Morocco. The warp, or background color, is interwoven with the weft, the over-colors.
Their combination gives a lovely, iridescent sheen to the fabric and the artisan production process makes each bag a unique piece as well as having a low environmental impact.
To open and close the handbag there is a long zip on the outside and a small pocket with a zip on the inside.
This beautiful brown tote bag is also fully lined.
