Wide black belt in real leather with filigree silver belt buckle
WHY WE LOVE IT
Hand woven in classic black genuine leather, these Moroccan belts combine a big belt buckle with a delicate filigree design inset with real horn and is one of those versatile accessories that no wardrobe should be without.
We love that Ibiza hippy, boho chic vibe but also that this style of belt can be dressed up or down, worn on the hips or cinched in at the waist.
This wide belt hand braided in genuine black leather is ideal for wearing slung low on the hips or as a wide waist belt on dresses, cinched in at the waist.
The buckle is hand tooled in German silver and has a piece of natural horn inset at its centre.
The horn has been polished to give a beautiful shine and being a natural material, the colors and tones can vary, from creamy white, creamy, beige, taupe, brown and black.
The beauty of a braided belt is that it has no punched holes, so you can place the buckle anywhere along the belt making a perfect fit.
It can be worn to expose the excess part of the belt, or it can be tucked behind the belt for a cleaner look.

This thick belt is available in:

M (Total length, including buckle, 120cm)
L (Total length, including buckle, 123cm)
XL (Total length, including buckle, 124cm)
The sizes are calculated to fit around the hips.
Our wide belts for women are artisan made in Morocco. There can be slight variations of length inside each given size which are shown in the lengths given.
The lengths given include the buckle, so when measuring your size, the buckle length needs to be added on to the required length (in this case 9cm).
For example, a measurement of 108cm around the hips can comfortably use from 117cm (gives a little less length) up to the XL sizes without there being too much length left over. These belts are flexible any additional length is tucked behind the belt anyway and the buckle can be hooked anywhere along the length of the braided belt.
The dimensions of this black belt and buckle measure:
(Metric): Belt measures 7.5cm wide and the buckle measures 9cm across with 4.5cm insert of round natural horn.
or
(Imperial): Belt measures 3" wide and the buckle measures 3 1/5" across with a 1 3/4" insert of round natural horn.
The real horn can vary in tone, from black, deep brown to tan and cream and the tones can also be combined in the same piece.
The buckle is made of German silver, a mix of copper, zink and nickel.
Being a handmade product, the sizes are approximate.
