Large Moroccan light, globe pendant light with filigree geometric design

This Moroccan lantern is sensational, giving a rich ambient feel to your home décor project: set to become a vintage treasure, this lamp would honor any Moroccan interior design.
The craftsmanship is exceptional and the hand-cut detail in the delicate filigree geometric pattern is exquisite: the master metalworker´s tools are simple but his skill and dexterity are not.
The Mueaqad is a spherically shaped Moroccan ceiling light that has been hand carved in brass by an expert craftsman in Morocco.
This particular filigree geometric design is very intricate to produce by hand and takes many intense days of labor, all done by hand.
The master craftsman from Morocco created this brass ceiling lamp in panels: these are first hand-cut in painstaking detail, using a paper with a pattern, configured in his head and then drawn by hand. Once this is finished, he carefully curves the panels within a millimeter to ensure that they fit together perfectly and then he solders each of the panels to the other by hand to create a perfect sphere.
A handmade copper ceiling rose and 25cm of round loop chain are provided to hang the lamp. The chain can be adjusted to the desired length.

WE CAN ADAPT THE CHAIN LENGTH IF REQUIRED
The lamp comes with 25cm of chain: if required, we can adapt the chain length of the lamp for you.
We recommend that you request this on completion of your purchase, as without specialist pliers, it is not easy to manipulate the chain links.
To calculate the required length, take the full measurement of the lamp that we have given, which includes the chain and ceiling rose.
Decide on the required total length and we will calculate the chain length as near as possible to the desired length.
As our clients come from all over the world, we do not supply electrical sockets as requirements vary from country to country.
This can be bought at your local hardware store and easily threaded through the ceiling rose, chain and lamp.
We recommend that an electrician helps you with your light installation.
