WHY WE LOVE IT
We love the pretty hand engraved design of this lovely silver colored letter opener, all handmade by a master craftsman in Morocco, as well the attached jewel colored tassels.
Practical as well as beautiful, these letter openers make lovely decorative accents for a home interior in search of some Moroccan décor.
These make a unique gift for someone without costing the earth!
A little bit "old school", vintage, retro...call it what you like...we love receiving real letters, not bills, dull notifications & junk mail, and what better way to open a letter than with one of our custom-made letter openers.
Designed by Andaluchic, they are handmade for us in Morocco, using traditional low impact, sustainable production techniques. The letter openers are engraved by hand and the jewel colored tassels are handmade using the fine art of passementerie (the art of working threads).
These make a lovely unique gift, pretty decor and even office decoration.
The metalwork is made of German Silver (60% copper, 20% nickel and 20% zinc).
The total length of the letter opener measures:
(Metric) 46cm (including the tassel); the length of the knife is 21cm x 2.5cm wide
or
(Imperial) 18.11" (including the tassel); the length of the knife is 8.26" x 0.98" wide
