Tassels and curtain tie backs, small, with engraved silver ball

Our beautiful handmade decorative tassels, with a single, doubled sided sphere inset with a hand engraved motif, can be used as curtain tie-backs or simply as stunning decorative accents for a home interior looking for some bohemian style with a twist of elegance.

The tassels can be used as drapery holdbacks to create an unforgettable window treatment or as luxurious home accents as Moroccan wall art for a living room, bedroom or hallway, suspended from a beam, end of a curtain pole, in a window or as luxuriously large tassels for furniture.  

The passementerie artsian works those threads hard, twisting, cutting and threading them into the most extraordinary creations, yet using the most basic of tools: a large needle, his own hands, fingers and toes and a pair of scissors.  The tools may be simple but in practice this eco friendly, low impact production process takes a lot of skill, finger agility, patience, precision and expertise.

We sell these tassels in pairs.  Their size is classed as small within our collection, although is larger compared to most other tassels on the market.

The tassels measure:

Metric: 87cm long in total; the fringe measures 39cm long x 6cm wide.

or

Imperial: 34.25" long in total; the fringe measures 15.35" long and 2.36" wide.

The metal motif is hand engraved and is made of German Silver (a mix of 60% copper, 20% zinc and 20% nickel).
