Tassels and tie backs in large with double sided moon design

Our beautiful handmade tassels and curtain tie-backs look superlative in window treatments or as boho chic home accents.

They can be hung as drapery tie holdbacks in the traditional way or used as home décor in windows, from furniture, at the entrance in a hallway, as original wall décor, hung from a beam or at the end of a curtain pole to give a decorative touch to a chic, boho style home interior

When the metal motif is completed, the metalworker passes his finished piece to a master of passmenterie, the art of making braids, trimmings and pompoms.  

We love the large fringe of the tassels which has mini fringes worked within it, centrally tied together with an intricate knot. 

The artisan works his magic with the simplest of tools, ranging from his own hands, fingers and toes to basic instruments such as a large needle and scissors an eco friendly production process with a low environmental impact.

These large Moroccan tassels are sold in pairs.

The tassels measure:

Metric: 112.5cm long in total; the fringe and motif measure 62.5cm long x 14cm at it´s widest point

or

Imperial: 44.29" long in total; the fringe and motif measure 24.60" x 5.51" at it´s widest point.

The central motif is hand cut and double sided and is made of German Silver (a mix of 60% copper, 20% zinc and 20% nickel).
