WHY WE LOVE IT
This soft and tactile pashmina shawl is handwoven in striped fabric in block colors of turquoise green and blue with aubergine/eggplant and gold.
With a low environmental production process, this handmade product is low maintenance being machine washable on a cool wash.
Dangle it over your shoulder or wear it pashmina style; fold or scrunch it up and use it as a scarf.
In a mix of large and small stripes in block colors of turquoise, blues, greens, lime and aubergine with a hint of gold, our beautiful pashmina shawl is handwoven on traditional wooden looms by a dynamic cooperative in Morocco.
The threads are silk-like to the touch and movement and with a vibrant color combination and a subtle, relfective sheen thanks to the warp (undertone color) working beautifully with the weft (the multiple colors woven over and through the warp).
Although this fabric can be hand washed, it is also machine washable at 30º Celsius / 86º Fahrenheit (cool wash) and can be ironed on a cotton setting, making it a really durable and practical choice. Neither will the fabric lose its rich color, beautiful sheen or softness after multiple washes.
It can be dry-cleaned but it really doesn´t need to be.
This fabric, created from natural by-products of cellulose fibres, can be used as a pashmina, wrap, shawl, scarf and is usable throughout the year, although the color combinations are so lovely, some of our customers have gone off-piste & used it as a table runner, wall hanging or decorative fabric at the foot of their bed or instead of a headboard.
Artisan made on ancient wooden looms, our handwoven pashmina manages to combine a bohemian style with a luxurious, sophisticated look & feel so it won´t be out of place at a wedding or party celebration, but could also just as well give a lift to a day-time outfit.
