Orange, fuchsia and red pashmina shawl woven into colored striped fabric

In a zinging color mix of hot pinks, tones of red and orange, our unique artisan made pashmina shawl is handwoven on traditional wooden looms by a dynamic cooperative in Morocco. 

The threads feel silky and soft and the handwoven striped fabric has a subtle, relfective sheen thanks to the warp (undertone color) working beautifully with the weft (the multiple colors woven over and through the warp).

Although this colorful material can be hand washed, it is also machine washable at 30º Celsius / 86º Fahrenheit (cool wash) and can be ironed on a cotton setting, making it a really durable and practical choice. Neither will the fabric lose its rich color, beautiful sheen or softness after multiple washes.It can be dry-cleaned but it really doesn´t need to be.

This colorful fabric, created from natural by-products of cellulose fibres, can be used as a pashmina, wrap, shawl, scarf and is usable throughout the year, although the color combinations are so lovely, some of our customers have gone off-piste & used it as a table runner, wall hanging or decorative fabric at the foot of their bed or instead of a headboard.

Each pashmina is made in limited batches, and although the vibrant community of artisans that weave them use the same threads and color palette, each shawl is, in fact, unique.
